Sold as toys, these fall under the EU Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and the EN 71 family of standards, which cover mechanical safety, flammability and the chemistry of everything a hand touches.
The 2.4 GHz control link is radio equipment in its own right and falls under the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU.
The lithium cells fall under the EU Batteries Regulation 2023/1542, and moving them across a border is governed by UN 38.3.
